![]() So from my old experience when I used midis in live performances playing sax, I used a nice program in which it was easy to fix wrong playing files. ![]() But the audible tracks sounds super nice. I loaded the same file into Casio PX-S3000 (it's a good machine). I have a midi file that plays in Reaper (using GS Wavetable) and it sounds the same in other midi player (using different sound fonts).Īll instrument sounds but total output is cheese (as expected). May be you can help with fixing midi file channels in Reaper (if it is doable). Seems that your explanation is 100% correct. Maybe they're just warning users that's it's not straightforward to use for anything other than simple playback of MIDI files? I don't know what Cockos mean by this, but it definitely has high latency and if you want to route it's audio into Reaper it can be a bit of a hassle, as it's essentially seen by Reaper as an external device.
